DIY Face Masks
A number of people spend their money and time in salons for a perfect skin which later feels like a waste. Homemade face mask are way more economical and further, they have no side-effects. They are made with the ingredient which are easily available either in your kitchen or in your garden.
Here are some easy DIY Face Masks for all skin types
Aloe Vera & Tea Tree Oil Mask: Aloe Vera has anti-inflammatory properties which gives a soothing effect to your skin and moisturizes your skin. Tea Tree oil also has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties which help to prevent and reduce pimples and acne scars.
Take one tablespoon of aloe vera gel and add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil. Mix it well and apply it on your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and wash your face with clean water. Apply this mask at least twice a week.
Baking Soda and Lemon Mask: Baking soda is a great product for your skin because it balances the pH levels of your skin. Baking soda also helps in treating acne and acts as an exfoliator. Lemon Juice disinfects your skin and removes the excess oil. It acts as a toner and closes your pores.
Take 2 tablespoons of baking soda and add 2 tablespoons of water and a few drops of lemon juice to make a paste. Massage the paste on your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with clean water. Apply this mask once a week.
Multani Mitti & Rose Water Mask: Multani Mitti has oil-absorbing properties which are effective to fight against acne, blackheads and whiteheads. It boosts blood circulation and given even tone to your skin. Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties which deal with itchy skin. It also maintains pH level of your skin and controls excessive oil.
Take 2 table spoon of multani mitti and add 1-2 tablespoons of rose water to make a paste. Apply it on your face and leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with clean water and apply moisturizer on your face. People with oily skin are recommended to apply the mask twice a week and people with normal to dry skin can apply it once in two weeks.
Banana & Honey Mask: The vitamin A and potassium in banana will nourish and hydrate your skin. Honey will give an extra shot of moisture to your skin.
Take a half banana and mash it to make a paste. Add one tablespoon of honey to it and mix it well. Apply it to your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with clean water. Apply twice a week.
