DIY Hair Masks
Nowadays, it's very common to go to the salon and spend thousands on your hair that probably will not work and can actually be harmful. But with the right ingredients in your kitchen you can make homemade hair masks which are harmless. Hair masks which are natural and homemade are the best to nourish the scalp and hair roots. Homemade hair masks are not only beneficial to your hair but also cheap as all you need is few kitchen ingredients which are easily available.
Here are some of the DIY Hair Masks suitable for all hair types:
Egg, Honey & Apple Cider Vinegar: Eggs are rich in vitamin A, D, E and proteins which helps retaining the shine of your hair. Honey is perfect for retaining moisture in your hair. Apple Cider Vinegar contains vitamin B, C and potassium and works as an antibacterial which helps with itchy scalps.
Take one egg, a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar. Mix them well. Apply the mask to your hair from roots to ends and leave it for 30 or 40 mins. Wash your hair with regular shampoo and conditioner. Apply this mask once a week.
Aloe vera & Vitamin E: Aloe vera is a wonderful ingredient to deep condition your hair and it promotes hair growth and prevents an itchy scalp. Vitamin E works as an antioxidant that reduces the breakdown of your scalp.
Take 3 tablespoons Aloe vera gel or according to the length of your hair and 2 capsules of vitamin E. Take out the fluid of vitamin E capsules and mix it with aleo vera gel. Apply it to the roots of your hair and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash your hair with regular shampoo and conditioner. Apply this mask every time before you wash your hair.
Fenugreek (Methi) Hair Mask: Fenugreek (Methi) is the most effective hair ingredient found in every kitchen. It contains protein and nicotonic acid which is benefial against many scalp issues. It improves hair growth as well as conditions your hair.
Take 2 tablespoons of fenugreek and soak it in a glass of water overnight. Blend it to form a paste and apply it to you scalp for 20 minutes. Wash it off with regular shampoo and conditioner. Apply this mask at least once a week.
